Glanmire Solar Farm

About The Project

With development approval received in January 2024, Glas Energy is looking to progress a collocated renewable energy scheme at a site at 4823 Great Western Highway, Glanmire, NSW 2795. The scheme will supply 60MW of renewable solar energy and will include a 52MW battery energy storage system (BESS) that can store this energy and discharge when electricity demand is high.

This website has been created to provide information to the wider community. Glas Energy is also in the process of preparing a program that aims to contribute value to the local area in Glanmire. As part of this, Glas Energy is committed to keeping the community informed at each stage of the project from planning through to construction.
