Elgin is currently operating across four markets: Australia, Ireland, the United Kingdom and Germany. We have a pipeline of over 150 solar and storage projects, which will provide over 15 GW of clean, renewable energy. This is enough green energy to power over 11 million homes. 

Elgin has an unparalleled 98% success rate in securing planning permission and over 2 GW of development approvals across its three key markets. Every project developed to date has been energised or has a clear schedule to delivery.

In 2024 Copenhagen Investment Partners (CIP) acquired a majority share in Elgin Energy, marking a significant milestone. CIP, the world’s largest dedicated fund manager specializing in greenfield renewable energy investments, brings invaluable expertise to our partnership.

With both CIP and our management team investing £250 million into the company, we’re poised for substantial growth. This partnership underscores our commitment to sustainability and provides the resources and expertise to advance our mission of promoting a sustainable future.
